Profile Screen¶
What is this screen?¶
The Profile Screen is your account management center. It's where you manage your personal information, app settings, and account actions. This screen also provides access to help resources, feedback submission, and support contacts.
What can you do here?¶
- View your profile: See your name, email, and profile picture
- Update your photo: Change your profile picture
- Edit personal information: Update your name and contact details
- Manage app settings: Change language, theme, notifications, and other preferences
- Read messages: View terminal messages and announcements
- Get help: Access FAQs, documents, and support resources
- Submit feedback: Send suggestions or report issues
- Manage your account: Sign out or delete your account
Understanding the screen¶
Profile Header¶
At the top of the screen:
- Profile title: "Profile" heading
- Theme toggle: Sun/moon icon to quickly switch between light and dark mode
Profile Picture Section¶
Your profile picture appears prominently:
- Avatar image: Your current profile picture or your initials in a circle
- Camera icon: Tap to change your profile picture
- Name: Your display name
- Email: Your registered email address
Tap the camera icon to upload a new photo from your device.

Below your profile picture, you'll see a list of options:
Messages - View terminal messages and announcements - See unread message count - Access important terminal communications

Help & Support Feature¶
The Help & Support section is your comprehensive resource for learning how to use the app. It's organized into two main areas:
Popular Topics: These are the most frequently accessed help documents, showing what other drivers look up most often. They appear as a simple list - tap any to read the full article.
Recommended Topics: These are organized by category to help you find information by subject. Categories include:
- Bookings - How to create, manage, and understand bookings
- Visits - Active visit management and check-in procedures
- WIM - Weigh-in-Motion operations and procedures
- Notifications - Understanding app alerts and messages
- And more...
Each category shows an icon and name. Tap to expand it and see all documents in that category. Tap any document title to view the complete content.
How it works: When you open Help & Support, the app fetches the latest documentation from the server. This ensures you always have current information. Categories are automatically organized by the system, and popular topics are tracked based on what drivers access most frequently.
Safety Feature¶
The Safety section displays terminal-specific safety guidelines that all drivers must follow. This is critical information for your safety and compliance.
Terminal-Specific Guidelines: The app automatically detects which terminal you're using and displays the appropriate safety rules.
Card Format: Each safety guideline is displayed in its own card with a safety shield icon, making it easy to read and reference. The guidelines cover essential procedures, emergency protocols, and terminal rules.
Account Actions¶
At the bottom:
- Log Out: Sign out of your account
- Delete Account (red text): Permanently delete your account and data
How to use this screen¶
Change your profile picture¶
- Tap the camera icon on your profile picture
- Select a photo from your device
- Adjust the photo if needed
- Save the new profile picture
Your updated photo will appear throughout the app.
Edit personal information¶
- Tap "Personal Information"
- Update your name or other details
- Tap Save to confirm changes
- Tap the back arrow to return
Change app settings¶
- Tap "Settings"
- Adjust language, theme, or notifications
- Changes take effect immediately
- Tap the back arrow to return
View messages¶
- Tap "Messages"
- See a list of terminal messages
- Tap any message to read details
- Unread messages are highlighted
Get help and find information¶
- Tap "Help & Support"
- Popular Topics: Browse frequently accessed help articles at the top
- Recommended Topics: Tap a category to expand it and see related documents
- Tap any document title to view the full help content
- Use the back arrow to return to the Profile screen
What happens: The app fetches help documentation from the server. Popular topics are those marked as frequently accessed by drivers. Recommended topics are organized by categories (like "Bookings", "Visits", "WIM", etc.) and can be expanded to show related documents. Tapping a document opens a detailed view with complete information about that topic.
View safety guidelines¶
- Tap "Safety"
- Review the safety procedures displayed in card format
- Scroll through all guidelines to read complete safety information
- Use the back arrow to return to the Profile screen
What happens: The app automatically determines which terminal you're using and displays the appropriate safety guidelines. Port Botany terminals show 9 specific safety rules, while other terminals display 10 general safety guidelines. Each guideline is presented in an easy-to-read card with a safety icon. The content is loaded from the server to ensure you always have the most current safety information.
Submit feedback¶
- Tap "Feedback"
- Choose feedback type (suggestion, bug, etc.)
- Enter your feedback
- Submit to send to the development team
Sign out¶
- Tap "Log Out" at the bottom
- Confirm you want to sign out
- You'll be returned to the login screen
Delete your account¶
Warning: This is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Tap "Delete Account" (red text)
- Confirm you want to delete
- Your account and all data will be permanently removed
Mobile tips¶
- Quick theme toggle: Use the sun/moon icon at the top to quickly switch themes without going to Settings
- Keep your info updated: Make sure your contact information is current
- Check messages regularly: Terminal messages may contain important announcements
- Provide feedback: Use the Feedback option to report issues or suggest improvements
- Know your contacts: The Contacts section has important phone numbers for emergencies
- Review safety guidelines: Familiarize yourself with the Safety section guidelines before arriving at the terminal
- Use Help & Support: If you're unsure how to use a feature, check Help & Support first - it's loaded with the latest documentation and guides
- Expand categories: In Help & Support, tap categories to expand them and see all available documents on that topic
- Popular topics are popular for a reason: The Popular section in Help & Support shows what other drivers frequently look up - it's a great starting point
Common questions¶
Q: How do I change my profile picture?
Tap the camera icon on your profile picture, then select a new photo from your device, then save.
Q: What happens when I sign out?
Signing out removes your account from the device. You'll need to sign in again to access your bookings and visit information. Your data is preserved on the server.
Q: What's the difference between signing out and deleting my account?
- Sign Out: Temporarily removes your account from this device. You can sign back in anytime.
- Delete Account: Permanently removes your account and all associated data. This cannot be undone.
Q: How do I change the app language?
Go to Settings > Language and select your preferred language. The app will update immediately.
Q: What are Messages?
Messages are communications from the terminal - announcements, updates, and important information sent to all drivers or specifically to you.
Q: Is my feedback anonymous?
Feedback typically includes your account information so the team can follow up if needed. If you need to report something anonymously, mention that in your feedback.
Q: What should I do if I find a bug?
Use the Feedback option to report it. Include as much detail as possible: what happened, what you were doing, and any error messages you saw.
Q: Can I use the app in dark mode?
Yes! Tap the moon icon at the top of the Profile screen for quick access, or go to Settings > Theme to choose your preferred theme (Light, Dark, or System).
Q: What if I accidentally delete my account?
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You would need to create a new account. Make sure you really want to delete before confirming.
Q: How do I find terminal contact information?
Tap "Contacts" to see terminal phone numbers, emergency contacts, and support information.
Q: How do I find specific help information?
Tap "Help & Support" from the Profile screen. Browse the Popular section for quick answers, or expand a category in Recommended Topics to see all available documents on that subject. Tap any document title to view the full content.
Q: Are the help documents updated regularly?
Yes, help documentation is loaded from the server each time you open Help & Support, ensuring you always see the most current information and procedures.
Q: What's in the Safety section?
The Safety section contains terminal-specific safety procedures and guidelines that all drivers must follow. The app automatically displays the correct safety rules based on your current terminal location.
Q: Do safety guidelines change based on which terminal I'm at?
Yes. The app detects your terminal and displays the appropriate safety guidelines.
Q: Can I access safety guidelines offline?
The Safety screen loads guidelines from the server to ensure you have the most current safety information. You'll need an internet connection to view them, but they're quick to load.
Q: What if I can't find the help I need in Help & Support?
If you can't find what you're looking for, use the Feedback option to submit your question or contact the terminal directly using the Contacts section for immediate assistance.
Q: Can I see past feedback I've submitted?
Currently, the app doesn't show a history of submitted feedback. If you need to reference past feedback, contact support.
Q: Why should I keep my profile updated?
Keeping your profile current ensures the terminal can contact you if needed and helps with any account recovery issues.

Go to About to see the current app version, build number, and other technical information.
